Barbara Nadine (Lea) Garrett, 78, was born July 21, 1942 in Bucyrus, Missouri to Raymond “Earl” and Mildred Manley Lea. She departed this life on December 2, 2020 with her longtime companion, Wayne Andrus, by her side.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents, daughter Kimberly, grandson Adam, great-granddaughter Lillyiana, infant brother Billy, and stepfather John McCarry.
Barbara was a member of Houston Church of Christ and was baptized on April 30, 2019.
She was known as an excellent baker and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Barbara was the manager of El Rancho Truck Stop restaurant at Cabool, Missouri, for many years.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Wayne Andrus of Houston, Missouri; one sister, Deloris “Dee” Scott of Houston, Missouri; two daughters, Tamela Marler of Butler, Indiana, and Stacey Roland of Lynchburg, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
At her request, she was cremated, and private family services will be held at a later date. Barbara will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
