After retirement Fran, was able to express her love and passion for antiques and fabric by opening Knot Enuff Quilts and Antiques in Cabool. She opened the store November 3, 2018. She shared many times, “This is something I’ve always wanted to do all my life. My grandma sewed, and I sewed when I was a kid. I wanted to offer very affordable fabric so everyone can enjoy quilting and sewing.” As a person who loved people and sewing, it was a natural thing for her to combine them all in one place. Many thanks and appreciation to her friends, Jennifer, Irma, Maggie, Becky, Lisa, her husband Rick, and daughter Tania for all their love and support since the beginning. She couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you to all the friends and patrons that blessed her with fellowship and friendship. She truly enjoyed seeing each of you and sharing in the love of quilting.

Fran was the foundation to her family. She was strong, supportive, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her dedication and loyalty to her family and friends is a genuine example of who she was. She always had a smile on her face that would lift your spirits, beautiful inside and out. She was fun, witty, wise, and adventurous, along with having a true sweet, kind, polite, and considerate spirit. She had a huge heart and wanted to care and love for anyone who would let her; she truly loved people and animals, friends and strangers alike.
