Judith Ann Umfleet, 65 – Passed November 18, 2021

Judith Ann Umfleet passed away November 18, 2021 at age 65. She was born to John Robert and Loretta Jean (Roth) Umfleet on August 10, 1956 in South Carolina where her father was stationed in the Marines. She was the eldest of four girls.

Judith attended and graduated from Calumet High School in Gary, Indiana. While attending she met and married Harvey Lee Wedge. They together moved to a dairy farm in Macomb, Missouri and raised three children, Harvey Lester, Barry Robert and Melissa Anne.

After selling the cattle and moving to Springfield, Missouri, she worked in sales and advertising. She moved to Cabool, Missouri after becoming disabled from chronic illness.

Her hobbies included crafting and achieving the title “World’s Best NaNa,” spending every moment she could spoiling her 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Judith was preceded to heaven by her first husband, Harvey; her parents, John and Loretta; a son, Barry; and a granddaughter, Aliyah Anne.

She is survived by son, Harvey of Ava, Missouri, his children and stepchildren, Zachary Wedge, DJ Friend, Samantha Johnson, Nolan and wife Autumn Johnson, four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson, Melissa and husband Jamie Todd of Cabool and their children, Jaylee Todd, Jamison Todd and Jaxson Todd and wife Bridgette, one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson to arrive any day, Barry’s children and stepchildren, Abigail Wedge, Gavin Wedge, Anthony Underwood, Allison and husband Dale Uhlmann, Aaron and wife Gracie Underwood, Alex Underwood, three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Judith was full of love and kindness and will be greatly missed by all family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the funeral chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool. Online condolences may be made at
