Juanita LaVonne Bunch, 94, of Willow Springs, Missouri, departed this life for her heavenly home on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Willow Care Nursing Home.
She was born on March 3, 1927 in Pomona, Missouri, the daughter of J.W and Zeona (Henderson) Cone.
LaVonne attended grade school in Pomona and then graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1945. On June 28, 1945 she married her true love, Ralph Bunch. To this union two children were born, Jim and Beth.
She was a longtime employee of Rawlings in Willow Springs. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Pomona Christian Church, attending PCC her entire life. She was an active member of the PCC Ladies’ Aide and worked cleaning the church for many years.
LaVonne’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and church family. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs.
LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; her son, Jim Bunch; son-in-law, Tom Ferguson; sister, Imogene Baker; an infant brother; several brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Ferguson; daughter-in-law, Barbara Bunch; grandsons, Brian Bunch of Pomona, Jason Ferguson and wife Michelle of Willow Springs, Josh Ferguson of Willow Springs and Chad Bunch and wife Haley of Rogersville, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Brenden and Emory Bunch and Brenden, Gavin, Dylan, Korbin and Austin Ferguson; and her brother-in-law, Charles Bunch and wife Martha.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pomona Christian Church Ladies’ Aide. Per her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
